About this service
Since 1975 the CHC Summer Recreation Program (SRP) has been offered in 7 neighbourhoods. The Summer Recreation Program, has provided children between 4 and 17 years of age who live in or near our housing communities an opportunity to participate in various positive recreational and social activities during the summer months. This is a free program.
Windsor Essex CHC believes in strong neighbourhoods as integral to our mandate.
STRONG NEIGHBOURHOODS
We believe that investing in housing contributes to the development of strong neighbourhoods, and that it brings benefits to the City of Windsor and the County of Essex by providing stable and quality housing options for lower income residents.
Our community based recreational activities and mentoring programs are supported by many community partners and agencies.
