Settlement Workers - 1 on 1 assistance to help you settle into your new home
English Classes - we cover: speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to improve your English.
Computer & Workplace Skills Training - we train you in internet use, Windows, MS Word, Outlook and Excel, as well as English skills and Canadian Workplace Essentials.
Ready to Work - Get your certification in: Service Excellence, Smart Serve, National Food Safety, WHMIS training and Kitchen Skills.
Orientation Workshops
Newcomers Connecting through Community Contributions - Work alongside our chef in UHCs Community Kitchen to learn how to create soups, sauces, and meals to help those in need in our community while meeting new people.
Care for Newcomer Children - We offer on-site care for children ages 19 months 6 years when you register to complete any of our new to Canada courses. Healthy snacks are provided for children, and lunch is provided for both the children and their guardian.
