About this service
Children in this age group are learning to develop control over their bodies and themselves. A consistent, predictable routine that includes songs and story time, creative exploration, and play opportunities allows them to learn these skills and build their self-confidence. At the same time, they are having fun in a relaxing, supportive environment.
Our toddler day care program is interactive and fun with carefully considered activities and based on the childrens needs. Toys and equipment and the room design is planned to aid in the childs social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Music and movement, dramatic play, songs, stories, daily indoor and outdoor physical activity, open-ended art materials, nutritious hot meals and snacks, and safety are very important at Sundowners.
We offer full-time and part-time Toddler daycare programs and are licensed under the Ministry of Education.
