About this service
Do you have a special needs family member? Are you looking for help or a night out? The bocce program might be something for you to consider.
Valerie Tessier has been overseeing the Bocce program for 10 years. Bocce promotes exercise through games such as kings court, and enhances social abilities through dancing. We have friendly, helpful volunteers and athletes of all abilities.
The bocce program runs from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. every Monday night at the Novelletto Rosati Complex. The dancing portion follows and continues until 8:00 p.m. We have been training some of the competitive athletes for out-of-town competition. Each year in January, we attend a bocce tournament hosted by the Fogolar Furlan Club.
