Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare - Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program

A specialized program providing services to individuals age 16-65 with severe, complex, or treatment resistant mood and/or anxiety disorders.

Mood and Anxiety Treatment assesses your needs based on current diagnosis, length of illness, disability caused by illness, and risk.

An assessment will be scheduled with one of our registered and certified staff. The assessment will determine if you are eligible for Mood and Anxiety Treatment services or if another community service will better meet your needs.

In order to identify your treatment goals, you will be asked to talk about your background, employment, family, health, and any issues or concerns you may have.

Once the assessment is completed, the team will meet to discuss a treatment plan made especially for you. If you are admitted to the program, you will be assigned to a social worker for counselling.

You must be referred to the Program by another hospital, psychiatrist or physician, or community mental health providers.
