About this service
The Student Success strategies and programs help students in Grade 7-12 tailor their education to their individual strengths, goals and interests.
Student Success programs and interventions adhere to the following guiding principles:
- All that we do will be in support of improving student achievement.
- All that we do may be necessary for some, but will be good for all.
- All decisions will be informed by relevant data.
- All initiatives will be based on a foundation of research and will include a measure of effectiveness.
Student Success Teachers (SST)
- Work with their schools Student Success Team to develop and implement programs and interventions in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Pathways, and Community, Culture, and Caring.
- Key facilitator and provider for direct student advocacy and mentoring, student monitoring and school-wide professional learning related to Student Success initiatives.
