About this service
Second Career is an MTCU funded program for laid-off workers who lack the skills necessary to find full-time employment in the current labour market. Retraining is required to transition them into high skilled occupations that are in the local labour market.
Counsellors work one-on-one to assess eligibility and suitability criteria for the Second Career program
Eligible Individuals may receive financial assistance with the cost of tuition, books, living expenses, and other costs associated with training
