About this service
Super Saturdays Program: At FRS we believe that when children have the support to get involved in the community it provides a great opportunity to build relationships and skills and everyone in the family has a break. Super Saturdays is a recreation program which is run in partnership with St. Clair College. There are two sessions each Saturday- morning and afternoon from September through April. Children with special needs have fun in a supervised setting with other children from the community.
Students from different faculties within the College provide support for the children with supervision and mentorship from FRS staff. Access to support through this program is arranged with FRS as a part of an overall respite plan. The number of children in each session is limited by the resources available.
FRS raises funds to assist in covering the costs of this program and is thankful for the community support and donors who make this possible.
