About this service
Social Housing refers to rental housing developed with the assistance of government and subsidized by Municipal and Federal government for people with low to moderate incomes; seniors; or people with special needs who can live, with supports, in the community.
Subsidies are provided to private landlords and independent Non-Profit Housing Corporations (known as housing Providers) who manage the day-to-day activities of the housing developments in the Windsor-Essex County service area.
