About this service
The focus of this program is on activities supporting community healing and wellness, and crisis intervention within the broader community. Activities include sharing circles, traditional and western peer support counseling services, treatment referrals, program referrals, court based support services and culturally based healing and wellness workshops.
The Healing and Wellness Coordinator acts as an advocate for community members dealing with various social service agencies such as the Childrens Aid Society, Legal Aid, ODSP, Windsor Housing and Ontario Works.
