Shockwave therapy is a multidisciplinary treatment that is used in orthopaedics, physiotherapy, sports medicine, urology and veterinary medicine. Its main benefits are fast pain relief and mobility restoration. Together with being a non-surgical therapy with no need for pain medication, it is an ideal therapy to speed up recovery and cure various indications causing acute or chronic pain. Its primary use at ARC is for such conditions as heel spurs, chronic epicondylitis (tennis elbow), bursitis and calcium build up in the tendons (calcific tendonitis).
