About this service
Our Occupational Therapist offers specialized assessment and rehabilitative services to clients of all ages with conditions, disorders, and ailments of the upper extremity including the hand, forearm, wrist, and elbow. We provide preventative care and post-surgical rehabilitation using a variety of techniques to return the patient to their previous function and improve their daily activities. Our Occupational Therapist also specializes in dynamic and custom splinting for the upper extremity.
Upon request and pre-approval, our Occupational Therapist can perform a home assessment for an individual following an injury. A thorough examination of the clients home is performed and education is provided to facilitate independence and increase the functionality of the home. Assessment recommendations may include assistance, or the provision of assistive devices to enable the client to return to their activities of daily living.
