About this organization
Our Food Cupboard is small but mighty, providing food for individuals from our neighbourhood, the university and our own congregation. Take when you need and Give when you can is our motto. You can find it in the entrance way of our church that is also shared with the Green Bean.
Every October have a big food drive to help keep this cupboard stocked for the winter months. We also have food-of-the-month drives where we invite our congregation to bring in Pasta & Sauce for the month of February. Its a great way to keep it stocked.
If youre ever in need, youre always welcome to grab something as youre pass by.
During this time of self-isolation weve been able to put together food hampers for those in our neighbourhood and congregation that might be sort on food. Weve also been able to donate items to both the university food bank and another local food bank.
