About this service
For certain medical conditions, especially those that involve the neuromuscular and skeletal system, orthoses or braces may be the appropriate remedy. An orthosis is a device that is used to correct any orthopedic structural or functional defects. This becomes very valuable particularly for disorders affecting the foot or the lower extremities.
After a careful examination and evaluation of your condition, our experts will design and create the correct orthosis or brace for you taking into consideration the vital factors of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. You will then be assisted in learning how to use the device for your optimal benefit.
Regular monitoring will be conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the orthosis in recovery or rehabilitation of your medical condition. With the orthosis, it is expected that the patient will have an improvement in mobility and a decrease in pain and discomfort as the physical defects are gradually corrected.
