About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: CCDs Community Food Box program is continuing to support vulnerable members of our community that are unable to safely acquire the essentials needed during this unprecedented time.
Community Care Durham (CCD) has partnered with local suppliers, including the W. Galen Weston Centre for Food at Durham College, to stock the Community Food Boxes. We are grateful for the support of many local businesses and organizations who are giving back to the community in this time of need.
Depending on availability, each Community Food Box may contain:
- Eggs & Dairy
- Breads & Baked Goods
- Pasta & Soups
- Beverages
- Paper Products
- Fruits & Vegetables
The boxes may also contain recipes and food tips developed by the Durham College culinary program.
Each Community Food Box is $30. There is no charge for delivery.
