About this service
Focus for Ethnic Women under their program Focus on New Beginnings, took residents of Reception House to enjoy the Link Picnic at Victoria park. This was a new experience for the newcomers and their first exposure to a picnic in the park in Canada! Big smiles, full participation and total engagement warmed everyone's hearts! Included in this picture are a board member Alka Seoni, facilitator Anna Barth, facilitator Danica Mitrovic, volunteer Welid Ali and Berry Vrbanovic, Mayor, city of Kitchener! What an introduction to their new home Canada!
