Embracing the fact that God isnt mad at us sets us free to live joyful lives. As we love him and others because he first loved us, our joy is infectious. The one who is forgiven much loves much and love fulfills the law (Romans 13:8-10). Faithfulness from sinners and sufferers is always surprising. Its a miracle. Too many get that backwards. They work hard to be faithful in the hopes that it will lead to a life of joy and freedom. It just doesnt work. In fact, the reason were so bad is that weve been trying so hard to be good. Yes, freedom can be dangerous, but the alternative is much worse. Radical grace is what changes everything. It affects how you love, work, live, lead, marry, parent, evangelize, purchase and worship. The church has suffered under the heavy burden of do more, try harder religion too long and Key Life is here to proclaim that Jesus sets the captives free!
