About this service
St. Carthagh's Catholic Women's League has given 97 years of faithful service of time, talents and devotion to the parish, community and world.
The St. Carthagh's CWL provides assistance for parish projects, support to the Catholic schools in the area through bursaries and awards at graduation, First Communions, First Reconciliation and Confirmations. The CWL also hosts funeral luncheons for bereaved families of the parish, and hold bake sales. Really, there are no known better egg salad sandwiches in the world.
Conventions, retreats, and meditations provide faith, fun and fellowship for members which revitalize and reinforce our commitment to serve.
We have supported projects around the world by donating money for food, clean water, bed kits, school supplies and other benevolent projects. We have supported parishioners who have travelled to other countries to do missionary work.
