About this service
Heart of Hastings Hospice offers a Free Equipment Lending service to support local communities. They lend medical and mobility equipment at no charge to those in need. The equipment, including walkers, wheelchairs, commodes, bath seats, bed rails, canes/crutches, hospital beds, lift chairs, etc., is sourced through community donations, thoroughly cleaned, and loaned for as long as the individual requires. This service does not involve any purchasing or renting costs, only asking for the equipment to be returned in the same condition as when borrowed. Individuals can also donate equipment to the service.
