About this service
COVID-19 Update: Medical Transportation trips are a priority such a dialysis and other serious medical issues. Other trips will be looked at to allow our clients to stay in their homes.
Escorted Transportation: Volunteer drivers are available for long distance and local trips for medical appointments, shopping or social activities.
Escorted Mobility Van: The Escorted Mobility Van compliments the existing Volunteer Escorted Transportation program by removing barriers experienced in accessing medical care.
Please be aware there is a rate schedule that is calculated based on distance, number of stops required, and gas prices. To book transportation contact the office at least 2 business days in advance of the trip, if possible. Please be prepared to tell us the date and time of the trip, the destination address, the doctor's name (if applicable), how long your visit may be, how many stops may be required and whether you require assistance getting in and out of the vehicle.
