About this service
Vanauley Street YMCA Centre is an incredible new facility that supports homeless and at-risk youth, and is a fully accessible facility. Our shelter has 40 beds and we provide harm-reduction and trauma-informed residential services to at-risk homeless young men, aged 16-24. Gender is self-identified, and the Vanauley Street YMCA Centre is a trans-positive space. Vanauley Street YMCA Shelter also provides housing supports to enable youth to secure and maintain permanent, affordable accommodation. Staff provide support for youth to make positive changes under challenging circumstances.
