About this service
Established in 1992, the Trinity Bellwoods Community Childrens Group/CARE is a licensed, art focused, child directed childcare centre in downtown Toronto for children ages 6 to 12. Our goal is to provide programming that encourages creative potential and cooperative spirit in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The after school program operates daily from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., from September to June. Children are picked up at designated schools and walked safely back to the centre. Program activities are based on the interests of the children, and may include visual arts, drama, music and movement, woodworking, as well as sports and cooperative games. A light, nutritious snack is provided daily. On school Professional Development Days, Christmas Break, and March Break, full day programs may be offered based on enrollment. Programs begin at 8:30 a.m. and end promptly at 6:00 p.m.
