About this service
Toronto Community Hostel provides newly arrived refugee men, women, families and children with emergency shelter and basic needs of food, clothing, health and safety, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Through the refugee program, interpretation and supports are provided to access relevant services. The program also helps refugees acquire permanent housing by providing advocacy with landlords and escorts to view units. Timely referrals for furniture and household items help refugees offset moving costs.
