About this service
The Centre also operates a Primary Support Unit (PSU), a 10-bed crisis stabilization unit that provides transitional support from a non-medical, crisis stabilization perspective that will allow clients to mobilize their efforts to take the next steps for community re-entry. The PSU is based on the principles of Psycho-Social Rehabilitation, and reduces the need for re-hospitalization and dependency on emergency departments and psychiatric services.
