About this service
he Intensive In-Home Service provides therapeutic and psycho-educational services to adolescents and families with complex mental health needs without separating the youth from their caregivers. Youth do not experience the sense of abandonment and rejection that is often associated with removal from home, and positive changes and behavioural gains are sustainable and applicable to the familys daily experience.
The objectives of the Intensive In-Home Service are:
To support families and promote positive outcomes for adolescents with emotional and behavioural disorders by providing a range of high quality services, including assessment, consultation and treatment planning, family, individual and group therapy.
To provide specialized group programs for adolescents and parents in response to the changing needs of the community.
To provide family and individual therapy to clients and their families.
