About this service
The Support Independent Living (SIL) Program at Unison Health & Community Services aims to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live independently and securely within their communities. Available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the program assists individuals in developing essential life skills such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, money management, and public transportation use. To be eligible, participants must be referred by Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) and demonstrate a willingness and capacity to learn basic daily living skills and live independently.
