Jewish Family and Child Service offers Supplementary Financial Assistance and Case Management to help reduce the effects of poverty for low-income community members in the Greater Toronto Area. Eligible Jewish individuals can receive financial aid to support their basic or emergency needs. Accompanying the financial assistance is case management through the Sustainable Livelihoods framework, which focuses on building resilience, assets, and social inclusion to reduce vulnerability. Social workers provide a comprehensive, individualized approach by connecting clients to additional services. JF&CS is part of a Collective Impact initiative focused on poverty reduction within the Jewish community.
