About this service
SHARC offers housing walk-in service providing referrals for shelters and respite services to individuals 16 years and older, who are homeless, living on the street or street involved. Streets to Homes Assessment & Referral Program assists in helping clients secure permanent housing, provides individual plan development and intense ongoing advocacy, assists with obtaining social assistance, accompaniment to appointments including social assistance, housing, health care, legal consultation, recruits landlords, assists with rent negotiations and arranges long term supports for tenants and landlords.
