About this service
Dedicated volunteers attend at various youth detention centres for our Platinum Dinner program. We provide the youth with culturally diverse meals as well as provide various workshops, presentations and mentoring to the youth. We also provide a Platinum Holiday Dinner in December and attend both on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. We are advised by the youth and the youth centre staff that the holidays are when the youth are emotionally vulnerable and in need of our visits more than usual.
