About this service
At Sanctuary, we believe that we are all made in the image of a fantastically creative God and carry gifts, talents and personalities that should be called forth, allowed and encouraged to flourish. As a haven of safety and respect for some of the most vulnerable people in Toronto, Sanctuary strives to recognize and meet the needs of the person as a whole through a variety of community arts programming. Music, drama, expressive writing and visual arts play an important role in the life of our community, providing a means for self-expression, self-realization, and human relationships.
- Past activities include full length dramas, sketches and one act plays, improv sessions, one-on-one acting coaching and play reading. We currently hold a weekly open art studio, monthly workshops and photography walks. We also celebrate our Art eXtravaganza every Spring and Fall.
