About this service
Sanctuary is a Christ-centred community where all people are welcome, particularly people who are poor and excluded. Our Sunday services contain a very wide spectrum of believers and beliefs. Our unity is in our shared faith in Christ as expressed through love and justice for the poor. The expressions of this shared faith are often divergent matters of personal conscience. We work to remain particularly conscious of the ways that LGBTIQI2S+ people, people of colour, Indigenous Peoples, people with disabilities, and women have been harmed by Christianity, and we seek to repent of that harm.
