About this service
Social workers provide counselling, case management and advocacy (both systemic and individual) to clients in our service area. We work on an individual basis with children, youth and adults, as well as in groups including Women Sex Workers Drop-in, Homeless Mens Group and Homeless Womens Art Group.
RPCHC social workers help people with a range of concerns including housing, income, immigration, family and relationship issues, feelings of depression and anxiety, coping with illness, dealing with past or current abuse and drug and alcohol use. We listen to our clients, help them discover their own strengths, work with them to find suitable solutions to their problems and refer them to other services available in the community including food banks and housing supports.
