About this service
Our harm reduction street outreach & Satellite programs connect workers and peer workers with the community outside of business hours. Outreach can take place in drop-ins, parks, under bridges and in alley-ways, at community organizations, rooming houses, apartment buildings, and the streets of Parkdale-Queen West.
Teams of outreach workers provide safer drug use, safer sex, body piercing, and testosterone/steroid kits and supplies as well as water, hygiene supplies, socks, and underwear, information and support. Naloxone distribution and training is also provided through this program.
