About this service
The PAR program is a court-mandated, community-based education and counselling program for individuals charged with domestic violence offenses. It provides participants with the opportunity to examine their beliefs about abuse, learn non-violent conflict resolution strategies, and develop skills for healthier relationships. The program consists of an intake session followed by 12 weekly group sessions, covering topics such as accountability, substance abuse, triggers, and respectful communication. Services are offered in English, Tamil, and French, with specialized sessions available for male-identified members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
