About this service
Our Harm Reduction rooms provide a safe and welcoming environment for people to discuss safer drug use and safer sex practices, and/or get referrals to programs and other supports at our centre and in the community. Service and supplies include:
- Safer injection kits
- Crack kits
- Other safer drug use equipment (e.g. cookers, water, ties, vitamin C, and sharps containers)
- Smoking foils
- Crystal meth pipes
- Foil chasing the dragon smoking kits
- Naloxone distribution
- Safer body piercing kits
- Testosterone/steroid kits
- Safer sex supplies (lube, condoms, dental dams)
- Safe disposal of used harm reduction equipment
- Community clean up
Our harm reduction program provides client support, system navigation, crisis de-escalation; client and community harm reduction trainings and presentations, naloxone training, community development and health promotion.
