About this service
The Community Access Program provides people with affordable public access to computers and the internet. The program was founded in 1994 initially with funding from the Government of Canada which was focused on rural communities where the internet access was limited. As rural communities became better equipped with computers and internet, access to the program was expanded to a larger group.
