NIPs Access & Connections Program helps vulnerable, low-income people move from insufficiency to stability and a capacity to thrive:

  • Life stabilization and pathways to services
  • Mail/message services; telephone access; Internet/word processing; translation/interpretation; form filling; Income Tax/income support filings; information/warm referral; case management
  • Reduced social isolation and increased community engagement
  • Peer-to-peer activities through Peer Groups, each led by an NIP-developed Peer Leader
  • Peer-supported community events/festivals
  • Partner-supported skill-building workshops, e.g., volunteering, civic engagement, elder abuse
