About this service

Midayntas Housing Manager works with low-income individuals and families who face many barriers and challenges in finding and maintaining appropriate and affordable housing and who are struggling to pay the rent. Midaynta Community Services is continuing to strengthen our delivery of efficient and effective services that will meet the varied and unique needs of our clients.

In this program we take a holistic approach and look at a number of issues, such as the number of children, financial status and neighbourhood, and health and mental health, all of which tend to have a negative impact on our clients housing status. While we serve everyone who needs the service, the main emphasis of the program is to provide culturally sensitive assistance to prevent homelessness in the Somali Community.
