About this service
Our Community Housing, Support and Referral Services is a housing first, eviction prevention program that is much more than simply housing. The program plays an integral role in our comprehensive range of programs offered at the Centre for pregnant and parenting young mothers (16-24) who are experiencing homelessness in the City of Toronto. The program creates a bridge to permanent housing by increasing life and work skills to prepare young moms to live independently in the community with healthy, happy babies.
Program offers the following services:
- Support in securing housing in market apartments
- Monthly housing subsidy (while funding is available) for market apartments for eligible clients
- Referrals to community resources
- Eviction prevention services and workshops
- Employment job search
- Income Tax services
- Application assistance for OSAP, Ontario Works, and other income supports
- Support with finding a secondary or postsecondary program

Pregnant and parenting young mothers (16-24).
