About this service
The Lansing United Church Food Bank has been serving the local Lansing/Willowdale/North York community for more than 30 years. Starting out with just a few items on a shelf in the Minister's office, our food bank has grown substantially to serve those in the greatest need. We are now serving over 200 families per month. We are a member in good standing with the greater umbrella organization of North York Harvest Food Bank.
To register, you must come in person to the food bank, on the days and hours we are open, and you must bring two pieces of identification. Plus, Proof of: Address (rental agreement or a post marked letter addressed to you); Proof of Income; and identification of any dependents that live with you and who share your food.
