About this service
This course is both instructional and interactive with a third of the time devoted to questions and discussion. Homework sheets are assigned at the end of each session and reviewed at the beginning of the next session as you work through the development of your childs profile and home and school plans. This course is geared to parents of children between 4 and 12 years of age and is approximately 12 hours in total, divided into 5 sessions. Session 1 ADHD Overview & Impacts on Learning Session 2 ADHD Treatment & Impairments in Self and Emotional Regulation Session 3 Family & Parenting and Home Strategies Session 4 Working with Schools & School Advocacy Session 5 Sharing of Your Home and School Plan / Discussion of Success and Struggles
