About this service
A program for children who have been exposed to abuse against their mothers. Service available in Alliston, Barrie, Collingwood, Midland and Orillia. The program is free and confidential.
Childrens Group Program offers:
A 10 week psychoeducational group for children between 5 15 years of age
A place to connect with others who have been exposed to violence against women
Age-specific learning activities related to abuse, healthy relationships and anti-violence
Individual counselling, advocacy and support
Supports for transportation and child care are available
Mothers Group Program offers:
A space for mothers to discuss how the abuse has affected their children
Safety planning for mothers and their children
Networking opportunities and resource sharing
Parenting support
An opportunity to learn about abuse
Conflict resolution skills
Individual counselling, advocacy and support
Supports for transportation and child care are available
