About this service
Hemophilia Ontarios Just the Dads program is an updated version of our previous Just the Guys Weekend, which has been part of our camp offering since 2001.
The Just the Dads program is a weekend overnight camp for girls and boys ages 4-17 who are affected by an inherited bleeding disorder, and their accompanying father/male caregiver ages 19+.
Mothers commonly act as the primary medical caregivers within our community, and this weekend provides a unique opportunity for the dads/male caregivers to gain a better understanding of their child/childrens diagnosis and to connect with other families through a series of education sessions, activities, and group events.
