About this service
Designed for high school-aged youth, Youth Ambassadors aspires to support participants by offering tailored academic planning and tutoring support to achieve goals, graduate high school and provide the foundation for future success. Participants attend weekly leadership development sessions and work collectively with their peers to lead community projects that create the positive change they wish to see in their neighborhoods. Through these initiatives youth can grow their peer support network, gain experience accomplishing goals as a team and give back to their community. In addition to community projects, this dynamic program includes on-site and off-site events such as personal development workshops, group discussions and recreational activities. This popular program hosts hundreds of youth each year.
