About this service
YTS is a bridging service guiding youth aged 12 to 21 from a Youth Justice facility back to his home and community. Community Support Workers ensure the youth are engaged with community resources that are able to address the short and long-term needs of the youth in order to reduce the risk of re-offending.
The YTS mobile team provides community and family reintegration and education continuity support to youth who are sentenced or detained in one of the Open Custody/Open Detention facilities that have, collectively, a 64 bed capacity, and also youth from 2 secure facilities located in the Greater Toronto Area.
