About this service
For many low income and newcomer individuals, a simple certification can make all the difference when it comes to employability and job opportunities. Our Certification and Skills Training initiative enables us to provide eligible individuals with the financing required to complete programs such as:
- Security Guard License
- Fork Lift Operator
- Food Handling
- And more
Objectives
- 1. Provide the tools required to increase opportunities for employment
- 2. Work with accredited certification providers and employers to increase opportunities and options
Services Provided
- Financial coverage for cost of certification training on short term courses
- TTC pass for one month after certification is complete for the purpose of job searching
