About this service
formerly known as Riverdale Interpreters) has been in operation since 2001. RivInt is a non-profit, community-based business managed by Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women (EHCW). It is dedicated to providing exceptional language services to the public and private sectors by focusing on the interpretation and translation needs of the service providers and their clients.
RivInt services for immigrants and refugees reach areas in and around the Greater Toronto Area. A rapidly growing population of new immigrants in Canada has created an extensive need for translation and interpretation services. Recognizing this increasing need, RivInt has been providing its services to hospitals, non-profit organizations, public and private sector organizations, and many others for over 15 years. Our prime focus is to bring service excellence to the community at large and provide assistance to non-English speaking citizens, immigrants, and refugees.
