About this service
Downsview Dells is a large house in the North York area specifically for men who are recovering from alcohol and drug abuse. The men are provided with a treatment program at Humber River Regional Hospital. The staff in the residence have a goal to maintain which is to help the men develop personal life goals and open up future opportunities. If the clients from the Seaton House are interested in quitting their drug/alcohol abuse, they are able to go to Downsview Dells when there is available space. Interested men must attend detox for 72 hours prior to admission, the program cannot accommodate clients on methadone or any new pill alternative. This program has a capacity for 30 individuals.
