About this service
The work of the Refugee and Immigration Division is focused on refugee and related human rights litigation. We regularly represent refugees at the Immigration and Refugee Board and in Federal Court.
We also represent individuals and families with Pre-Removal Risk Assessments, Ministerial Relief Applications and Humanitarian and Compassionate Applications.
In addition, we work closely with our community partners to provide public legal information workshops and advocate for a just and humane refugee and immigration system.
Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with family class sponsorship applications, permanent resident applications, filling out other applications, visa extensions, extradition, security certificates, and detention reviews.
