About this service
The Chisholm Program is a licensed Adult program serving men that have aged out of our Alexmuir & Austin Programs awaiting an appropriate adult placement. The clients are Level 1-2 on the Autism Spectrum scale and the programs main focus is to get the clients prepared for semi-independent living in the adult sector. Staff strive to create an environment of "family living' in this transitional program stressing independence in regards to life skills, social skills, and self care development, banking, as well as individuality and community involvement. Client to staff ratio is 4 to 2 and there is 1 overnight asleep staff at this location.
